Cartography Lab: Typography
In this lab, we worked with data from the state of Florida. Using different tools, I was tasked with adding different labels to polygon, line, and point features. For the cites, I used a distinct red dot to show their location and labeled them with a "San Sarif" font. The capital, Tallahassee, was given a yellow star point label. The river features were labeled using the same font but the color was "turquoise dust". I felt this color was too hard to see. I used a light green for the State of Florida and a darker green to show swamp/marshlands in the state. The inset map features the state's location in reference to the rest of the United States.
