About Me
Greetings!
Most of you know me already! I'm Brett Haskell, the GIS Coordinator at the University of West Florida. I currently advise students in the Online GIS Certificate program. I also market and recruit for the program. I earned my BS in Communication from Florida State University and recently earned my MA in Strategic Communication and Leadership from UWF. My research capstone was on perceptions of memes on social media involving foreign misinformation campaigns. I also sit as the Education Chair for FLURISA, the Florida GIS user group.
I'm described by my peers as high energy and always willing to communicate. In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors and traveling to new places. I'm excited to learn more about everyone and this class.
